Series review: The Men by Elle Nicoll
I've read this series throughout the year and I can say it was a good choice on my part for an easy to read novel at times. All 6 novels (there's a 7th coming out, looking forward to seeing what Mr. Silver has to say) are standalone HEAs with no cliffhangers. Honestly... I was expecting the usual "girl has issues, boy comes along, bosses her around, girl forgets about her issues" type of book, but dear God, was I in for a pleasant surprise! Think more along the lines of "girl has issues, boy has issues, I'm gonna save you from myself situation, boy and girl deal with issues together, HEA". The series touches on different types of trauma and when I tell you these boys have issues... Phew, the anguish, the drama, the secrets on both sides... All in all, I'm loving this series and I'm looking...
